We warmly welcome applications to our school from all members of our community.

The Admissions Policy has been formally adopted by the governing body who is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for determining the school’s admissions policy.

The admissions authority has set its Published Admission Number (PAN) at ??? pupils to be admitted to reception, in the school year beginning in the September following a child’s 4th birthday.

How and when to apply

Applications must be made on the Gateshead Council’s common application form (CAF). All forms must be returned by the closing date set by Gateshead Council. Visits to school are welcome and encouraged. Please contact us on 0191 4143108 to arrange a visit or obtain further information. 

In-year applications

Applications are welcome for all year groups during the school year. If you would like to transfer your child from another school, you must complete a School Transfer Application Form.

Year 4/5 Girls Football

On Wednesday, some of our Year 4/5 girls took part in the Gateshead Girls Football Tournament. They had a fantastic afternoon and displayed wonderful sportsmanship. Their hard work paid off and one of our teams secured bronze medals after coming 3rd out of all the teams that competed. Well done to all of them.

Year 1 – Deciduous or Evergreen Trees

This week we have been learning about the 2 different types of trees. The children were excellent at identifying deciduous and evergreen trees in our school gardens and they were able to explain how they could identify the tree based on its leaves.
