Ofsted and Diocesan Reports
On 25th & 26th September 2013 our school was inspected by Ofsted.
We are delighted to report that the inspection team judged our school to be ‘Good’ in all areas and ‘Outstanding’ in the area of ‘Behaviour and Safety’.
I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the whole staff team and Governors for their hard work and dedication which is at the core of our aim to continuously improve the quality of provision for your children here at St Joseph’s.
Thank you to all parents for your continued support, especially those who took the time to complete the online questionnaire during the inspection, the quality of the responses was noted by the inspection team and was much appreciated.
Our school was judged to be good because our mission statement is at the heart of everything that we do.
Ofsted said: ‘The school mission statement – ‘Aim high, care for others as Jesus does, everyone welcome’ pervades every aspect of school’s life. Consequently, pupil’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is outstanding’.
Please take time to read the report and be very proud of the work that we do as a school community.
Mr J G Hattam, Headteacher
