Y3 children had a fantastic day at Gibside National Trust where they spent the morning taking part in Art activities using the environment around them.  They painted the Orangery using mud and sticks, they made an artists colour palette using the colours lying on the ground, they took rubbings of different textures in the grounds and then made their Andy Goldsworthy themed art installation.

After a quick break for lunch they spent the afternoon making dens as a link to our work on Stig of the Dump.  The children were delighted to have ten minites spare at the end of the day to explore the play area.
