As part of our Crime and Punishment topic we are visiting different periods in History and learning about the crimes that would have been committed and the range of punishments that could have been given.
This week it was the turn of the Terrible Tudors. During this time in History there was a lot of stealing but the biggest worry was those that tried to commit treason.
Our task this week was to read the different scenarios, identify the crime which had been committed and work out the punishment that would have been given. Most of us think that the punishments were unfair but there are a couple of children in our class who are loving hearing about executions and criminals being put on the rack!
