Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their Destination Space workshop. The workshop took place at the Centre 4 Life and has been prepared for children across the country to help them understand the experience British astonaut Tim Peake will have in space at the international space station.
We used large space gloves to remove bolts from nuts which we found very difficult. We also carried out an absorbency investigation to find out how much liquid a space nappy could absorb, as well as using a miniature robot arm to move materials around a board. It was very interesting to learn about Tim’s space experience.
